Myrna DuMontier is dignity and gentleness personified.

She lives near Arlee.

Myrna is the Cultural Coordinator at Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Nation. She was inducted in to the Tribal Council of the CSKT in 2018. She is devoted to the tribe and their cultural and traditional values, growing up among the elders including her father, the late Louie Adams. She knows their lands in great detail and has worked particularly with tribal youth and MCE member Smoke Elser in the Bob Marshall Wilderness backcountry for years honoring sacred tribal sites for the present and future generations.
